Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of metoprolol combined with captopril for chronic heart failure.Method Total 140 cases with chronic heart failure were divided into two groups, the observation group and the control group.Routine treatment(urination, cardiotonic, nitrate, etc) was used in the control group,on the basis of the therapy of the control group, metoprolol was used in the observation group, the initial dose was 6.25 mg,bid, the biggest dose was 25 mg,bid, during the course of the use of metoprolol, the dose changed according to the blood pressure;and the initial dose of captopril was 12.5 mg,tid, the biggest dose was 50 mg,tid. The course was one month in the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the control group was 71.4%,and 92.8% in the observation group, the difference between the two groups was significant(P0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of metoprolol combined with captopril for chronic heart failure is significant, and the therapy should be referred to the doctors.
