Abstract

The CFD software FIRE developed by AVL is adopted to simulate a single-fuel spark-ignition CNG engine which is refitted from a CNG/diesel dual-fuel engine. With numerical simulation, the different parameters such as compression ratio,air/fuel ratio and ignition angle are simulated in this paper, and the suitable value is given.A theoretical guidance to develop new CNG engine is provided.
