Abstract

Objective To investigate the correlation of dynamic blood pressure and left ventricular hypertrophy(LVH) in hypertensive patients.Method A total of 120 hypertensive patients accepted routine echocardiography, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and inspection.According to the left ventricular mass index, the patients were divided into two groups(with and without LVH groups)(n=38 and 82,respectively).Results The levels of 24 hSBPL,24h DBPL,nSBPL,nDBPL,and dSBPL in LVH group were higher than those in the group without LVH(P0.01).Conclusions The incidence of LVH increased in patients with hypertension whose dynamic blood pressure load is abnormal.
