Characteristic of impedance gastrogram in gastric cancer patients

Abstract
Objective] To explore characteristic of impedance gastrogram in gastric cancer patients. [Methods] The impedance signal was tested when limosis and after standard meal in healthy volunteers, gastric ulcer patients and gastric cancer patients respectively with the apparatus of impedance gastrogram. Then the rhythm of stomach squirm, average amplitude and CPM were recorded. [Results] ①The gastric motivity characteristic of gastric cancer patients and gastric ulcer patients was significantly different from healthy volunteers' .②Compared with gastric ulcer patients, gastric cancer patients had no difference in the rhythm of stomach squirm, average amplitude and CPM (P0.05).③There was significant difference between advanced gastric cancer patients and gastric ulcer patients in the rhythm of stomach squirm and general comment of the gastric motivity (P0.05), especially between the BorrmannⅡ, Ⅲ gastric cancer patients and gastric ulcer patients.④The average amplitude of gastric cancer patients when limosis was higher than that of healthy volunteers and gastric ulcer patients (P0.05). [Conclusion] The gastric motility in gastric cancer patients was distinctive to healthy volunteers'. The gastric motility in advanced gastric cancer patients was distinctive to gastric ulcer patients'.
