Clinical Value of Detection of Serum Prealbumin,Cholinesterase and Tot al Bile Acid in Hepatic Diseases

Objective To investigate clinical value of serum levels of prealbumin(PA),cholinesterase(CHE)and total bile acid(TBA)in hepatic diseases.Methods The serum levels of PA,TBA,CHE,ALB(albumin),TBIL(total bilirubin)and ALT(alanine aminotransferase) were measured in 150 cases of different types of hepatitis and 50 cases of normal controls.Results Compared with healthy controls,the serum levels of PA and CHE in hepatic diseases were significantly lowe(rP0.05,P0.01),while the TBA level was significantly higher(P0.01).With the damage aggravation of the liver function.The levels of PA and CHE were reduced gradually and the TBA level was increased gradu-ally.On the other hand,the positive rates of serum PA,CHE and TBA in different types of hepatitis were more obviously higher than those of ALB,TBIL and ALT.Conclusion The serum levels of PA,CHE and TBA may help the early diagnosis and prognosis of the different types of hepatic diseases.
