Abstract

Objective to investigate the clinical value of serum levels of Prealbumin(PA) and total bile acid(TAB) in patients with chronic hepatic diseases. Methods The serum levels of PA、TBA、ALB(Album)、TBIL(Total Bilirubin)、ALT(Alanine aminotransferase)、AST(Aspartate aminotransferase) were measured with chronic hepatosis and normal controls by Olympu 5421.Results compared with healthy controls, the serum levels of PA in these patients were significanty lower(P0.01).while the leves of TBA were significantly higher in these patients with early hepatitis B(P0.05),chronic severe hepatitis and cirrhosis(P0.01).on the other hand, the changes of serum PA and TBA in the patients with early hepatitis B were more obvious than that of ALB、TBIL、ALT、AST.Conclusion The serum levels of PA and TBA may help the early diagnosis the hepatic disease.
