ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT OF ANTERIOR IMPACTED TEETH OF MAXILLA

Abstract

Objective To discuss orthodontic treatment for anterior impacted teeth of maxilla.Methods The fixed appliance combined with either alveolus surgical eruption or closed-eruption technique was applied to treat 18 impacted teeth.Results The eight impacted teeth treated by combined alveolus surgical eruption and 10 impacted teeth by combined closed-eruption technique were all successfully tracked and well aligned with normal pulp function and good periodontal attachment.ConclusionThe technique used for orthodontic treatment of impacted teeth in this study can obtain a favourable rectification.
