Abstract
Aim:To analysis the two-dimensional electrophoresis(2-DE) maps of gastric cancer and paired normal mucosa and to screen differently expressed proteins between them.Methods:2-DE was taken to separate the total proteins of gastric cancer and paired normal mucosa.Protein patterns were analyzed by Imagemaster 6.0 software after silver-staining.Results:2-DE profiles with high resolution and reproducibility were obtained.28 protein spots were found as differently expressed proteins,of which 15 up-regulated and 13 down-regulated in gastric cancer tissue.Conclusion:Gastric cancer expresses proteins differently from paired normal mucosa.
