Extraction Process of Total Flavonoids of Polygonum capitatum

Abstract

Objective To optimize the conditions for the extraction of the total flavonoids of Polygonum capitatum.Methods The optimum extraction process of the total flavonoids was selected by orthogonal experiment.The content of total flavonoids was determined by UV-spectrophotometry.Results Significant effect of alcohol concentration is discovered.Conclusion The optimum extraction process is as follows: Polygonum capitatum was extracted with 55% alcohol for 3 times,one hour per time,with the solvent volume 12 times amount.
