Abstract
Objective To analyze and evaluate the response of the first outbreak of influenza A (H1N1) in college in Sichuan,and provide evidence for the government and health authority to develop the control policy of influenza A (H1N1) outbreak in school.Methods The data of epidemic and its response were collected and analyzed,the prevention and control measures were evaluated.Results Forty six cases of influenza A (H1N1) were confirmed without severe case.No additional case was identified and no influenza like symptoms were found among the students and teaching staff receiving medical observation 7 days later (the longest incubation period ) since the identification of the last case Conclusion The outbreak was controlled timely by proper response.
