Abstract
[Objective]To analyze the characteristic and causes of influenza A H1N1 outbreak in a school,to provide the basis for the development of influenza A H1N1 influenza prevention and control measures.[Methods]On-the-spot epidemiological investigation was conducted on September 18 th in 2009.[Results]15 influenza-like cases were reported during the epidemic which lasted for 7 days.The morbidity rate was 1.35%.No severe and the death cases were reported.2 cases with Influenza A H1N1 were confirmed.The first confirmed case was in Junior second-grade (2).There were 35 students in the class,and 11 of them were ill,accounting for 31.43%.It was 1.47% and 1.19% in male and female students(P0.05).Throat swab samples were collected from 7 patients,2 of them were positive.[Conclusion]This was a local outbreak caused by type A H1N1 influenza virus in school.The main causes were delayed epidemic report,morning examine not into practice and no effective quarantine measures.
