Clinical Observation of Enema of"Kuijie Decoction"in Treating 60 Cases of Chronic Ulcerative Colitis

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Kuijie Decoctionin the treatment of chronic ulcerative colitis by enema.Methods Sixty cases in treatment group were treated with Kuijie Decoctionby enema and 35 cases in control group were treated withXilei Powderand Yunnan Baiyaoby enema;all were treated for 60 days.Results The total effective rate was 86.67% in treatment group and 68.57% in control group(P 0.05).Conclusion Kuijie Decoctionis quite effective for chronic ulcerative colitis and improves its clinical symptoms.
