Clinical Observation of "Jianpihuashi Decoction" and Chinese Herbal Medicine "Qingchangshuan" in Treating Chronic Ulcerative Colitis in 60 Cases

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Jianpihuashitang Decoction and Chinese herbal medicine Qingchangshuan in the treatment of chronic ulcerative colitis.Methods Ninety subjects were randomized into two groups treatment group in which 60 cases were treated with Jianpihuashitang Decoction and Qingchangshuan;control group in which another 30 cases were treated with Jianpihuashitang Decoction.The clinical efficacy,clinical symptom score,fibercolonscopy score were observed before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate was 95.0% in treatment group and 76.7% in control group(P 0.05).Conclusion It is showed that Jianpihuashitang Decoction and Chinese herbal medicine Qingchangshuan has positive effect on chronic ulcerative colitis.
