Abstract
Objective To analyze infection and drug sensitivity of ureaplasma urealyticum and mycoplasma hominis and to provide evidence for the etiological diagnosis and treatment of mycoplasma infection. Methods The mycoplasma diagnostic kit was used for culture, identification and antibiotics sensitivity test of mycoplasma in the samples from the patients with nongonococcal u- rethritis. Results The positivity of 456 samples from 1008 samples for mycoplasma culture was confirmed(45.24%).Among 456 positive samples,324 patients infected with mycoplasma were cultivated as ureaplasma urealyticum(UU) infection(32.14%),36 samples were mycoplasma hominis(MH) (3.57%),96 samples were found as positivity of UU+MH (9.52%);The positivity of UU detection was significantly higher than MH(X~2=63.76,P0.01).The detection rate of mycoplasma in female was higher than that in male(X~2=5.68,P0.05).UU,MH and UU+MH showed different sensitivity to the antibiotics used in the kit,but they all showed higher sensitivity to Josamycin,Doxycycline,Minomycin and Azithromycin. Conclusion It is important to cultivate and test the antibiotics sensitivity of mycoplasma in the samples from the STD patients in order to guide the selection of antibiotics clini- cally, control its spread and prevent the occurrence of antibiotics resistance.
