Specific PCR detection and susceptibility to antibiotics of mycoplasma in genitourinary tract

Objective In order to analyze the current infection,distribution,and drug-resistance of Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) and Mycoplama hominis(Mh) in Jilin city,and reasonable administration of therapeutic drug.Methods According to conservative sequence of Ureaplasma urealyticum and mycoplasma hominis gene,two pairs of primers were designed,respectively.The positive samples were used drug's sensitive test.Results sample from 554 patients were collected and tested.The positive cases were 393,and the positive rate was 70.9%;among them,194Uu(positive rate35.0%:),147 Mh(positive rate:25.5%),58 Uu+Mh(positive rate:10.5%).The sensitive drug were deoxycycline,josamycin,Azithromycin,Clarithromycin,pristinomycin.Conclusion the specific PCR method could identify mycoplasma with high speed,sensitivity and be economic.To compare with the year from 2003 to 2005,the year from 2006 to 2007 the drug resistance of Azithromycin and Clarithromycin were increased,but they were still good therapeutic effect.
