Analysis of Mycoplasma Infection and Drug Sensitivity in Urethristis (Report of 38 Male Cases)

Objective:To investigate the positive rate of Ureaplasma urealyticum (Uu) mycoplasma hominis (Mh) and experiment of drug sensitivity,for providing evidence for clinical pharmaceutical treatment.Methods:Samples of urethal and prostatic secretions were taken form 38 patients with urethristis infected by single mycoplasma.The types of mycoplasma were observed.Drug sensitivities in vitro were analyzed.Result:The infected strain was Uu in 33 of 38 cases (86.8%),Mh in 2 of 38 cases (5.3%),Combined infection in 3 of 38 cases (7.9%).The Drug sensitivities of CLA,AzI,ROX and SPA were highest;that of Dox,Min were higher and that of Jas and SPE were the lowest.Conclusion:Uu is the main pathogen in male urethristis infected by mycoplasma.Proper sensitive antibiotics and standard therapy can control infection effectively.
