The realistic potential of land consolidation in rural: Residential area of Quzhou County

The purpose of this paper is to quantitatively evaluate the man-land relationship of Quzhou county,calculate the realistic potential of land consolidation of rural residential area and analyze the influence of man-land relationship on the transformation from theoretical potential to realistic potential at a village.The used methods included statistical analysis,hierarchy analysis and modified coefficient on limited conditions.The results showed that the poor man-land relation existed mainly in the area around the town and both side of main road due to booming economy and expansive land requirement.The relation was harmonious in 77.14% of the researched area.Only about 26.99% of the potential could become realistic through land consolidation in this typical agricultural county of the Plain of Yellow,Huai and Hai Rivers.Our results can provide with a new scale and thinking for the research of land consolidation,and also have a sort of directive meaning for confirming the time and spatial sequence of land consolidation of rural residential area.
