Classification of Rural Residential Land for Spatial Consolidation in the Plain Area:A Case Study in Quzhou County,Hebei Province

Land consolidation is an activity,which recovers inefficient,idle and unreasonable land use,and improves rate of land utilization and output.It is all kinds of land consolidation,land reclamation,land development,and urban construction land linked to rural residential land activities.Basically,it optimizes the layout of land use spatial structure.Rural residential land is an important area of land consolidation in China.Quzhou County is located in the middle of the Huang Huaihai Plain,which is Chinese major grain producing area and the rural population concentration region.Analysis on its spatial structure consolidation classification of rural residential land is of regional strategic significance for the integrated development of urban and rural area.Analysis on of spatial consolidation of rural residential land use is a premise and a fundamental task of constructing new countryside and rural land consolidation.According to the requirements of new rural construction,the paper selected the evaluation indicators of the rural settlement land use from development foundation,production conditions,living conditions and ecological environment.With the help of the quantitative indicators and multi-factor comprehensive evaluation method,four kinds of rural residential land optimization types in Quzhou County were got: local urbanization type,key development type,restricted expansion type and combined migration type based on cluster analysis method.The results accorded with local conditions,and offered theoretical support for local new rural construction.
