Abstract

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of combined detection with TK1,CEA,CA19-9,CA72-4 and CA242 for gastric cancer. Methods The serum TK1,CEA,CA19-9,CA72-4 and CA242 levels in 45 patients with gastric cancer,40 patients with benign gastric diseases and 40 healthy controls were measured with ELISA method. Results The positive rates of TK1,CEA,CA19-9,CA72-4and CA242 in patients with gastric cancer were obviously higher than those in the group with benign gastric diseases and in the control group(P0.05).Moreover,the sensitivity of the combined detections including the five tumor markers were higher than those of the respective. Conclusions The serum TK1,CEA,CA19-9,CA72-4 and CA242 levels are very valuable in diagnosis of gastric cancer. The combined detection of five tumor markers can promote the sensitivity for the diagnosis of gastric cancer.
