Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of chemotherapeutic drugs on cellular immunity in patients with lung cancer. Methods 46 patients of lung cancer were enrolled in the study. Alkaline phosphatase anti alkaline phosphatase(APAAP) assay was used to measure the T lymphocyte subsets and natural killer cell in peripheral blood before chemotherapy,a week after chemotherapy and two weeks after chemotherapy, and comparison to 20 nomal controls was made. Results We found that:(1)The level of CD + 3、CD + 4、CD + 4/CD + 8,NK cell in pafients of lung cancer were significantly decreased compared with the control(P0.001).(2)The level of CD + 3、CD + 4、CD + 8.NK cell after chemotherapy was all decreased compared with that before chemotherapy respectively(P0.001),however the level of CD + 4/CD + 8 after chemtherapy was significantly increased compared with that before chemotherapy (P0.001).Conclusions The cell immunity is inhibited in patients of lung cancer moreover is impared considerably by chemotherapy, however at the same time chemotherapy can regulate the immunefunction as immunomodulator.
