Clinical Observation in Treatment of Vertebrobasilar Artery Insufficiency Vertigo with Pinggan Xifeng Hexue Decoction

Abstract

Objective:To observe the clinical effect and the mechanism on vertebrobasilar artery insufficiency vertigo with Pinggan Xifeng Hexue Decoction. Methods:100 cases of vertebrobasilar artery insufficiency vertigo in accordance with diagnostic criteria were randomized into 2 groups. The control group(50 patients)was treated with Flunarizine hydrochloride and Aspirin. The treatment group was treated with Pinggan Xifeng Hexue Decoction on the base of the control group. The efficacy was observed after 1 month in two groups. Results:The total effective rate of treatment group was better than that of control group(P0.05). The vertebral artery average blood speed of treatment group was obviously improved than those in the control group(P0.05). Conclusion:Pinggan Xifeng Hexue Decoction had good cure effect on vertebrobasilar artery insufficiency vertigo and its worthy of clinical use.
