Abstract
Civil law's protection is a weak link of jural protection for individual's privacy right. It needs strengthening eagerly. The usual torts against privacy are obtaining,using and spreading other's privacy illegally,aggressing and disturbing other's privale life,etc. The civil responsibility of violating other's privacy should adhere to the principle of error responsibility. The main pattens of responsibility are stopping violation,apology and paying for the loss. At present,the protection of civil law for privacy right needs strengthening and perfecting in aspects of legislation,justice and jural education.
