Abstract
The right to privacy is now being accepted worldwide as one of independent civil rights——personal right. People抯 desire for tranquility of inner heart and living environment demands legal protection of the right to privacy. This paper first studies several essential issues on privacy and the right to privacy, then makes some thoughts on protection of the right to privacy from the perspective of criminal law by analyzing related stipulations of criminal law. It makes some senses both in theory and in practice.
