Analysis of the resources of the wild ornamental plants and their scenery of landscape architecture from Dashiwei karst doline and cave cluster scenic spot in Guangxi

Basing on the investigation of the resources of the wild ornamental plants from dashiwei karst doline and cave cluster scenic spot in Guangxi and the analysis of their scenery of landscape architectures,the author comes to the following conclusions:(1) The wild ornamental plants species from Dashiwei karst doline and cave cluster scenic spot were quite rich,there were 89 families,149 genera,and 201 species (including varieties and formas).(2) The ornamental trees and shrubs were richest,including 43 families,76 genera,and 108 species among which there were 28 species of flowering trees and shrubs,37 species of trees and shrubs with ornamental fruits,48 species of foliage trees and shrubs,31 species of shade trees,27 species of climbing plants,64 species of amenity forest trees and shrubs.(3)The species of herb-flowering plant species were in the second place,including 36 families,51 genera,and 74 species with 16 species annual and biennials,19 species flowering bulbs,11 species perennial flowers 24 species ornamental pteridophytes and 9 species orchids.(4) The ground-covered plants were in the 3rd place,including 32 families,38 genera,and 52 species. (5) The lawn plants were in the least including only 1 family,5 genera,and 7 species. At the same time,the anthor puts forward countermeasures and proposals for conservation and sustainable utilization of the resources of the wild ornamental plants from Dashiwei karst doline and cave cluster scenic spot.
