【Objective】 To evaluate the safety and feasibility of minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy(MPCNL) under the guide of B ultrasound and local anesthesia in treating kidney calculi.【Method】 Retrospectively investigated the clinical results of 11 patients with solitary kidney calculi treated with minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy under the guide of B Ultrasound and local anesthesia from August to October 2005.【Results】 11 cases were achieved by minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy.Single tract was in all cases.No major complications were noted in these patients.【Conclusions】 Minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy under the guide of B ultrasound and local anesthesia is safe and effective in treating kidney calculi.It may offer advantages with respect to less invasion and easy recovery.
