Abstract
Objective:To study the safety and feasibility of minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy(MPCNL) under the guide of B-mode ultrasound in treating kidney calculi.Methods:The clinical data of 159 patients with kidney calculi and upper ureteral calculi treated with minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy under the guide of B-mode ultrasound from October 2006 were retrospectively investigated.Results:Good therapeutic effects were achieved by minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy for the 159 cases.Conclusion:Minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy under the guide of B-mode ultrasound is safe and effective in treating kidney calculi.It may offer advantages with respect to less invasion and easy recovery.
