Informational Management of Drug Consultation Work in Our Hospital

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for the development of informational drug consultation. METHODS:The information system of drug consultation in our hospital was introduced,and the development and effect of drug consultation were interpreted. RESULTS CONCLUSIONS:Interface for information system of drug consultation contains general information of patients,inquirers,query mode,drug name and dose,service time,query items,query instruction and other extended function,etc.The query modes include on-site consultation from consultation windows and 24 h telephone counseling;patients,their family member and medical staff are main service object. Pharmacist can inquire about drug use through hospital electronic library and hospital information system. The hospital offers advice to a total of 6 788 people in 5 year after the development of drug consultation,and health education for patients and the improvement of query system promote the safety of drug use in the patients.
