Abstract
To evaluate the expression and clinical signification of CD16+56 in acute myelogenic leukemia(AML), myelocytes of 42 patients with AML were measured by flow cytometry, and the morphology, immunophenotype and clinical features were analyzed. Seven of 42 (16.6%)cases expressed CD16+56 positivly, 1/42(2.4%) expressed partly, and 34/42 (80.9%) expressed CD16+56 negatively. From the results it could be concluded that the FAB types, immunophenotype and clinical features of AML with positively expressed CD16+56 were varied. The involvement of medullary was common and the prognosis was poor in the patients with M2 or M5.
