Abstract
Objective: To investigate the characteristics of immunophenotype in acute myeloid leukemia(AML).Method: Immunophenotyping was performed by flow cytometry in 208 patients with AML.Results: The incidence of myeloid antigen expression was 99.5% of CD33,98.6% of CD117,97.6% of CD123,92.3% of CD13 and 90.9% of MPO respectively. The highest incidence of accompanying lymphoid antigen expression was 47.1% of CD7,13.9% of CD2,13.5% of CD4 and 4.3% of CD19 respectively. Two or more myeloid associated antigens were expressed on M0 and M7 subtypes of AML,three or more myeloid associated antigens were expressed on other subtypes of AML.CD19 was expressed only on M2b subtype,CD2 and CD9 were expressed on M3 subtype, while CD4 and CD14 were expressed on M4 and M5 subtype respectively. Conclusion: ①CD33,CD117,CD123,CD13 and MPO are sensitive myeloid associated antigens.②The expression of CD2,CD4,CD9,CD14 and CD19 has important significance in AML diagnosis.
