Abstract
The extraction process of total flavones from Sarcandrae glabra by microwave was investigated. The effects of microwave power, microwave irradiation time, ethanol volume fraction, and solid/liquid ratio(g∶mL) on the extraction rate of total flavones were studied.Through single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment, the optimum extraction conditions were determined as follows: ethanol volume fraction was 60%,solid/liquid ratio was 1∶40,the microwave power was 400 W,the irradiation lasted for 30 s and repeated for three times batchwise.Under above conditions, the extraction rate of total flavones was 9.394%.Microwave method, which had high efficiency in shorter time with less energy, was a rapid and efficient extraction technique for total flavones from Sarcandrae glabra.
