Abstract
Objective To explore the efficacy of combining aripiprazole and fluvoxamine to refractory obsessive-compulsive disorder. Methods 60 refractory obsessive-compulsive patients who met the criteria of CCMD-3 were divided into the experimental group( 28cases) and the control group(32cases)randomly.The experimental group was treated with aripiprazole and fluvoxamine while the control group was treated with fluvoxamine. The period of the trail was 8 weeks. The efficacy and the side effects were evaluated by YBOCS and TESS respectively. Results The efficacy was better in the experimental group than in the control group (χ2=4.1,P0.05).The side effects in the control group was almost the same as that in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Combining aripiprazole and fluvoxamine is a practical way to treat refractory obsessive-compulsive disorder.
