Abstract

The theoretical foundation of application of DNA molecular genetic marker to medicinal plant is summarized. The prospect to solve some problems on the authentication of crude drug, the relationship of easily confusable species, the protection of biological diversity, the tracing of geo-horbal origin and the genetic breeding were presented briefly.
