Abstract
Objective To observe the difference of sevoflurane inhalation anesthesia and ketamine anesthesia in pediatric short-operation.Methods A total of 30 children aged from 1 to 8 years old were selected to randomize sevoflurane group and ketamine group. The induction time, awakening time, influence to circulation and respiratory function of the two groups were observed. Results The induction time and recovery time of sevoflurane group was shorter than the ketamine group(P 0.01).The change of hemodynamics of sevoflurane group was smaller than the ketamine group(P 0.05).The respiratory inhibition effects of the two groups were mild. Conclusion The anesthesia induction of sevoflurane anesthesia takes effect and regains consciousness quickly and has little effect on circulation and respiration. Also, retention time of sevoflurane group in operating room is shorter than ketamine group and it can be easily extended.
