Abstract

The objective of this study was establish a method to diagnose nasopharyngeal carcinoma with the detection of the levels of TSGF,SCCAg and CYFRA211 in serum. The contents of TSGF,SCCAg and CYFRA211 were detected in 200 healthy subjects and 116 nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients with the methods of biochemistry chromatometry and chromatometry. The sensitivities of TSGF,SCCAg and CYFRA211 were 63.5%,29.3% and 43.6%,respectively.When above three tumor markers were all positive to diagnose the patients as nasopharyngeal carcinoma:the sensitivity was 61.7%,specificity and positive predictive value were both 100%.There was a significant difference compared with the simple detection,P0.05.In conclusion, the specificity and efficacy of the nasopharyngeal carcinoma diagnosis are increased when the detection of TSGF,SCCAg and CYFRA211 are combined.
