Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical value of color Doppler ultrasonic diagnosis on thyroid adenoma and nodular goiter. Methods The ultrasonic manifestation of 75 thyroid adenoma and 115 nodular goiter were reviewed and compared with pathology findings. Results The pathology proved that there were 66 thyroid adenomas,103 nodular goiters,3 thyroid carcinoma and 2 Hashimoto disease. The accuracy of diagnosis for thyroid adenoma and nodular goiter by color Doppler were 88% and 89% respectively. Conclusion The color Doppler ultrasound had important clinic value in the differential diagnosis of thyroid adenoma and nodular goiter.
