Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the clinical value of color Doppler ultrasonic diagnosis on thyroid adenoma and nodular goiter. Methods: The ultrasonic manifestation of 32 thyroid adenoma and 21 nodular goiter were reviewed and compared with pathology findings. Results: The pathology proved that there were 29 thyroid adenomas(22 were cystadenoma),17 nodular goiters,(11 were cystic goiter),1 thyroid carcinoma and 1 Hashimoto disease. The accuracy of diagnosis for thyroid adenoma and nodular goiter by color Doppler were 90% and 81% respectively. Conclusion: The color Doppler ultrasound has important clinic value in the differential diagnosis of thyroid adenoma and nodular goiter.
