Abstract

Objective To study and analyze the clinical effect of Maxingshigan Decoction in treatment of acute bronchitis. Methods Ninety four cases of acute bronchitis patients were selected and divided into the Western medical group and TCM group, 47 cases in each group. Western medical group was given ambroxol hydrochloride treatment; TCM group was given Maxingshigan Decoction treatment. Results Bronchial symptoms improvement of TCM group was better than the Western medical group; symptoms disappear time was significantly shorter than Western medical group; number of adverse drug reactions was significantly less than the Western medical group; symptom recurrence rate was significantly lower than the Western medical group. Conclusion The clinical effect of Maxingshigan Decoction in treatment of patients suffering from acute bronchitis is very obvious.
