Abstract
The participation of college students in the classroom teaching of ideological and political theory course is crucial to bring into play the essential role of the ideological and political education.A random survey over 10 colleges in Jiangxi Province found that college students did not have strong initiative to participate in the classroom teaching,their capacity were limited,and teachers did not have enough intervention on students' behavior.To improve college students' initiative and to enhance the effectiveness of teaching,teachers should make a clear requirement,try various ways to improve students' ability to participate,intervene their behavior and set incentive to encourage them.
