Clinical effect comparison of ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy and pneumatic lithotripsy

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy and pneumatic lithotripsy in the treatment of ureteral calculi.Methods Two hundred and sixty cases of ureteral calculi from January 2009 to December 2010 in our hospital were selected and divided into two groups with treatment method,126 patients with holmium laser,134 patients with pneumatic ballistic.Results The average operation time of holmium laser group was significantly longer than pressure ballistic group (P 0.05).The once gravel success rate,the stone-free rates of two groups had no significant difference (P 0.05).Three weeks after treatment holmium laser group patients was significantly higher than pressure ballistic group (P 0.05),and ureteral injury was significantly higher than pressure ballistic group (P 0.05).Conclusion VATS wedge resection of pulmonary inflammatory pseudotumor has better clinical effect,it is worthy of clinical application.
