Curative Effect Comparison between Pneumatic Ballistic and Holmium Laser Lithotripsy in Treating Upper Ureteral Calculi

Abstract
Objective: To study the effect of pneumatic ballistic and holmium laser lithotripsy in treating upper ureteral calculi. Method: Patients with upper ureteral calculi were collected and divided randomly into observation group given holmium laser lithotripsy and control group given pneumatic lithotripsy. Then therapeutic effects operation related indexes and postoperative quality of life were observed. Result: 65 cases in effective,KPS,MUNSH,ESCA and total life quality score of observation group were significantly higher than those in control group; operation time,bleeding volume,exhaust time,ambulation were significantly shorter than those in control group. Conclusion: Holmium laser lithotripsy has positive clinical value for it can effectively improve the treatment efficiency.
