Clinical Observation on Yishen Huayu Decoction in Treating Eariy Diabetic Nephropathy

Abstract

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of Yishen Huayu Decoction(YHD) in treating early diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods:Sixty early DN patients were equally randomized into the control group and treatment group.The two groups were given diet control and antihyperglycemic drugs.Additionally,the treatment group was given YHD,twice per day.The treatment lasted one month.Results:The total effective rate was 86.7% in the treatment group and 70.0% in the control group,the difference being significant between the two groups(P0.05).Treatment group had a better effect on decreasing 24-hour albumin excretion rate,β2-MG,PC and Fib than the control group {P 0.05).ConcluSion:YHD exerts certain effect on relieving the symptoms of early diabetic nephropathy.
