Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of Valsartan combined with Amlodipine on elderly patients with hypertension combined with early kidney damage. Methods 98 patients with hypertension combined with early kidney damage admitted to our hospital from October 2010 to April 2013 were divided into Valsartan combined with Amlodipine group( A group,35 cases),Valsartan group( B group,32 cases),Amlodipine group( C group,31 cases). A group was given Valsartan combined with Amlodipine,B group was given Valsartan,C group was given Amlodipine, all treated for 8 weeks. The blood pressure,BP compliance rate, liver function, renal function, blood electrolytes,mALB,adverse reactions among 3 groups before and after 4,8 weeks of treatment were compared. Results After 4 and 8 weeks of treatment, the blood pressure drop and BP compliance rate were higher than those of groups B and C( P 0. 05). The blood pressure drop and BP compliance rate between two groups showed no significant differences( P 0. 05). Before and after treatment,The ALT,Cr,serum k+among 3 groups showed no significant differences( P 0. 05). Before treatment, the level of mALB among 3 group showed no significant differences( P 0. 05). After 4 and 8 weeks of treatment, the level of mALB in A group was lower than that of groups B and C( P 0. 05). Conclusion Valsartan combined with Amlodipine in treating hypertensive combined with early kidney damage can effectively reduce blood pressure and mALB,improve early kidney damage, and have a higher safety.
