Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effects of Chinese herbal components for convalescent patients with cerebral infarction and the effects on hemorheology indexes. Methods Eighty patients with cerebral infarction were randomly divided into 2 groups, control group and observation group, with 40 cases in each. The control group was treated with Huoxue Tongmai tablet while the observation group with Chinese herbal components.Therapeutic effects and hemorheology changes of the two groups were observed. Results Neurological function recovery of patients in the observation group was distinctly superior to that in the control group.Blood viscosity(high-shear viscosity and low-shear viscosity),plasma viscosity, total cholesterol and triglyceride of patients in the two groups improved after treatment, and the improved degree in the observation group was conspicuously superior to that in the control group. Conclusion Chinese herbal components can notably ameliorate abnormal blood viscosity and coagulation of patients with cerebral infarction, enhance the microcirculation in the brain and protect the neurological function, which deserves clinical promotion.
