Curative effects of Bushenhuonao decoction on patients with acute cerebral infarction

Objective To observe the curative effects of Bushenhuonao decoction on patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods Sixty patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into 2 groups.The patients are treated by Bushenhuonao decoction in the treatment group,and the others are treated by Nimodipine tablet in the control group.In both groups,two courses of treatment are given,and each course has two weeks.The change of neurologic impairment score,the hemorheology and the blood lipid are observed before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group is 90.0% and of the control group is 63.3%.There was significant difference between the two groups on the total effective rate(P0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group.The neurologic impairment score,indices of the hemorheology and the blood lipid in both groups,including whole blood viscosity,hematokrit,plasma specific viscosity,whole cholesterol and triglyceride,were decreased after treatment.And the indices of the treatment group decreased more than that of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Bushenhuonao decoction has definite effect on acute cerebral infarction,and can decrease the indexes of the hemorheology and the blood lipid.
