GEOLOGICAL FEATURES OF THE ZHUGANG PB-ZN ORE DEPOSIT AND ORE-PROSPECTING DIRECTION IN LUJIANG COUNTY, ANHUI PROVINCE

Abstract

The Zhugang Pb-Zn ore deposit,Lujiang County lies at the northeastern fringe of the Lu-Zong basin.It is a new deposit found in recent years as the efforts of a geological exploration fund project of Anhui Province.This is a big concealed ore deposit composed mostly of Pb-Zn ore and less of copper,a deposit formed by a volcanic,subvolcanic gas-liquid process.This paper described regional metallogenic geological setting and geological features of the deposit,analyzed ore-control conditions and genesis of the deposit,showed oreprospecting indicators and direction,adding much to the database of mineral exploration in the area and giving a clue for finding similar deposits in the future.
