Abstract
AIM To observe the effect of matrine injection combine with IFN on virul quantitative levels in patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB). METHODS The patients in treatment group received martine injection combined with IFN for three months and in control group received IFN alone for three months. RESULTS At the end of treatment, ALT and AST levels decreased significantly in both group ( P0 01) . So do HBV DNA and HBeAg levels( P0 01) . HBV DNA and HBeAg level in treatment group was significantly lower than those in control groups( P0 05) . CONCLUSION Matrine injection combined with IFN is efficient to treat patients with CHB.
