Abstract
Objective To study the relationship between the risk stratification in hypertensives and the levels of plasma vWF,adrenomedullin(ADM) and ET 1,and to explore the clinical significance. Methods Eighty essential hypertensives(EH) were randomly recruited and divided into 4 groups: the low risk group(n=20), the medium risk group(n=20), the high risk group(n=19) and the very high risk group (n=21).Twenty healthy persons were recruited as the control group. The levels of plasma ADM,ET 1 were determined by radioimmunoassay, and vWF by ELISA.Results Before treatment, the levels of plasma vWF, ET 1 and ADM increased significantly in EH group as compared with those in the control group (F=6.23~17.08;q= 4.27~ 10.43;P0.01~0.05).In EH subjects of different groups, there were significant differences in ET 1, ADM and vWF(q=3.87~6.86;P0.01). There were positive correlations between the levels of plasma ADM and ET 1, vWF (γ=0.602,0.683;P0.01). There were differences in the plasma ET 1, ADM and vWF before and after treatment (t=3.71~20.8,P0.01).Conclusions ADM,ET 1 and vWF were connected with the risk stratification in essential hypertension. The effective therapy after control blood pressure and risk factor could reduce the plasma levels of ET 1,ADM,vWF and improve endothelial function.
