Discuss Glycosylated Hemoglobin Test the Role of Diabetes in Pregnancy

Objective To analyze the glycosylated hemoglobin(HbAlc) to the screening of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM) the application of the meaning.Methods 98 patients with normal pregnancy group,52 patients with abnormal glucose tolerance group and 79 cases of GDM group had fasting plasma glucose(FPG),oral administration of 50g glucose screening measurement(GCT) and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbAlc) measurement.Results GDM group FPG,GCT,HbAlc compared with the normal pregnancy group were significantly higher(P 0.05).Normal pregnancy group and impaired glucose tolerance group of FPG,GCT-positive rate of basically the same,the two groups was not statistically significant(P 0.05).The positive rate of impaired glucose tolerance group HbA1c was significantly higher than the normal pregnancy group,statistically significant difference between the two groups(P 0.05).Conclusion The determination of glycated hemoglobin(HbAlc) method is rapid,simple,practical,take less blood can be used as diagnosis of GDM screening indicators.
