Pharmacoeconomic Analysis of Two Levofloxacin Therapeutic Schemes for Urinary System Infections

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the economic effects of two levofloxacin therapeutic schemes for urinary system infection. Methods:52 cases of urinary system infection collected from this hospital were divided into two groups:iv levofloxacin group and iv oral sequential levofloxacin group.Clinical effect was observed and cost-effectiveness analysis was carried out.Results:The total costs were 645.20 yuan and 472.04 yuan and the effective rates were 88.46%and 84.62%(P 0.05) in iv levofloxacin group and iv oral sequential group respective.Conclusion:The iv oral sequential levofloxacin scheme is better one for treating urinary system infection.
