Abstract
Higher education practice evaluation is to evaluate the quality and level of higher education.Being one of the most important links in higher education practice as well as one of the most important methods of higher education administration,it can guide, inspire, regulate and monitor the higher education practice. This essay points out the problems existing in China's current evaluation mechanism of higher education practice:i.e.,the single evaluation subject, the one-sided evaluation contents, and the non-scientific evaluation scheme. It proposes that a new evaluation mechanism should be established where the pluralism of evaluation subjects, evaluation goals, evaluation standards, and evaluation organizations is to be achieved.
